Start your morning off right with a tour of scenic roads South! We will pass through Needham Junction, Dedham, Stonybrook Reservation, and by the Brookline Center before rolling back to Cleveland Circle. We will swing by Fuel (nearby on Chestnut Hill Ave) at the end of the ride to relax and chat; come for the ride and stay for the coffee!

Directions: 

Alewife Station is reachable by car on Route 2, and there is ample paid parking; by car or bicycle on Alewife Brook Parkway; on paths from the west (Fitchburg Cutoff path), north (Minuteman Commuter Bikeway) and east (Linear Park). And Alewife Station is the terminus of the Red Line light rail, which takes bicycles except during peak hours in the peak direction. Ride groups meet in front of the parking garage on Steel Place.

True to its name, this ride is for the NEW members, EXPERIENCED riders who want to kick start the week/season and SOCIALIZE/welcome new riders or those who want to just ride . This quintessential route is admired by the CRW regulars and the newcomers. 

QUIET AND DECENTLY ILLUMINATED ROUTE ! Safe to ride even in the dark with beautifully lit houses on the way ! 

Expect casual speed 13–15mph. (riders can choose their own pace depending on the group) with option to split the group. 

LIGHTS ARE REQUIRED -  Weather related cancellations delays shall be notified by 3 pm on the ride day. 

Cruise on Minute Man trail for a winding tour on small streets of Lexington . The focus is on group riding, safety, and fun. Meet at Alewife station near the taxi stand—basically the middle of the station on the West side.

Join me for a NO DROP welcoming ride through beautiful ( QUITE and DECENTLY ILLUMINATED)  streets of Lexington. THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE - AS LONG AS YOU HAVE BIKE, YOU CAN RIDE!  
QUITE AND DECENTLY ILLUMINATED ROUTE ! Safe to ride even in the dark with beautifully lit houses on the way ! 

This week one rider will receive a coveted CRW Sock or CRW water bottle !!

Whether budding cyclist, new to CRW or simply want to do recovery ride after Week(end)'s hard riding ! There might be surprise goodies from time to time and shall be announced at the beginning of the ride.

Expect casual speed 13–14mph. (riders can choose their own pace depending on the group) with option to split the group.
